The group of ten singles already introduced are complemented by 23-year-old Vanessa. At the age of nine, the blonde beauty moved from Sweden to Espoo and speaks both Finnish and Swedish as her native language.
Vanessa arrived on Love Island looking for love, as no suitable partner has yet been found. Previous dating has ended with Vanessa not seeing the future of the relationship.
"I've never had a proper relationship. They have previously been such that the other side has not known what it wants.
Vanessa describes the man of her dreams as kind, kind-hearted and funny. Arrogance and self-centeredness will not conquer his heart.

Vanessa says she's a positive funny-man with a warm personality and a good heart. As his bad features, he mentions messiness and temperament.
Vanessa's previous job was in Malta, where she worked for six months as a gamekeeper at an online casino. At the moment, she doesn't work, but dreams of studying to be a journalist or actress.

Vanessa reveals that she sometimes get into wild stunts. While holidaying in Thailand, she and a friend got to know two men she decided to go sailing with. The foursome spent a few fun days on a sailboat.[1]

Vanessa entered the villa late into Day 1, as a late entrant, where she was told that she'd be able to steal a boy of her choice during the next day. On Day 2, Vanessa made the decision to couple up with Oliver, leaving Molly single. At Day 12's first re-coupling, Vanessa decided to re-couple with Reetu. For the next 5 re-couplings, on Days 18, 25, 35, 40 and 49 respectively, Vanessa was able to stay coupled to Reetu. During Day 61's finale, Vanessa alongside Reetu came out together as the runners-up.
