Valerie van Zandvoort was born 27 years ago in Nairobi, the capital of the African country of Kenya.
However, she has lived in the Netherlands since childhood; first in Hoofddorp, then in Hillegom and nowadays in Nieuw-Vennep, near Amsterdam.
Valerie therefore earns her living in the capital of our country.
She first studied at the Herbers Vissers college and then followed the SPW 3 Childcare course at the ROC in Leiden.
Nowadays she dives into the books for nutrition and dietetics.
In her spare time, Valerie can often be found in the gym: she even kickboxes at a high level.
We can therefore advise the men not to fool her on Love Island, because then you have to be careful!
Valerie now thinks it's high time for love. She is, she says, a "sucker for love" and is looking for a boy who is slightly younger than her and has a full head of hair.
Furthermore, the gentleman in question must connect well and be able to relate to the lifestyle of Valerie: this way they can dive into the gym together to stay in shape.[1]

Valerie entered the villa on Day 4, as a late entrant. However as she was unable to couple up during the first re-coupling on Day 7, she was dumped from the villa in 15th Place.
