Among the 10 islanders is Tommy, a 28-year-old firefighter from Pori who is also familiar to many viewers from another television series. Tommy, who also works as a cross-fit teacher, came, saw and won the Gladiators programme in spring 2019 sovereignly, even though he was never meant to participate in the programme.

Tommy entered the villa on Day 1, where he decided to couple up with Nikita. For Day 12's first re-coupling, he was able to stay coupled to her. For the next 5 re-couplings on Days 18, 25, 35, 40 and 49 respectively, he was able to stay coupled to Nikita. However on Day 58, it was revealed that both he and Nikita hadn't received enough public votes to win and as such were dumped from the villa together in 4th place.
