A seventh season of the show was confirmed to be in production on March 25th,2025 upon the opening of applications for the season.[1]
On July 3rd,2025 it was confirmed that the season would once again be a pre-recorded show with the producers looking to invite "Superfans" to take part in the recording of the season. It was also confirmed that Sophie Monk would be resuming her position as host.[2]
The first teaser for the seventh season was revealed October 5th,2025 revealing a theme of forbidden love while promising to be the most "wicked" season yet.[3] It was later confirmed on October 12th,2025 that the seventh season would be premiering October 27th.[4]
Casting[]
The applications for the seventh season opened on March 25th, 2025 alongside the announcement of the season. As with the previous seasons, producers were looking single boys and girls between the ages of 19 and 30 to take part.
Potential islanders would be able to fill out the application that could be found via the show's official website.[5] Applications would later close in June, 2025.

The initial cast, alongside the first two bombshells were revealed in full on October 13th,2025. The initial cast was comprised of 5 boys and 5 girls.[6] Further islanders would enter as bombshells later.
Day 1: After each of the boys had entered, they were asked to stand on a heart-pedestal with the girls then being given the opportunity to choose one or more boys to kiss. After this they chose one boy to couple up with. The final couplings were as such- Bailey & Zac, Isabel & Connor, Lacey & Jotham, Sharn & Ross, Yana & Cooper.
Day 3: Bombshells; Gabby and Mick were given the opportunity to choose an islander to couple up with, Gabby chose to couple up with Jotham and Mick chose Yana, leaving Lacey and Cooper single respectively.
Day 5: Bombshell; Kye was given the opportunity to choose a girl to couple up with and as such he made the decision to couple up with Lacey.
Day 7: First re-coupling (Girls/bombshell's choice)- Isabel & Connor, Gabby & Jotham, Sharn & Ross (Stayed together). Tamara & Mick, Mateo & Lacey, Yana & Kye (Re-coupled).
Challenges
Day 3:Ghosted-In this boys vs girls challenge, the two teams were pitted against each other in a challenge where one by one each member of a team would have to dig up a skeleton part from a make-shift grave. This part would contain a revealing statement correlating to an islander on the opposing team. To make their guess they'd have to give their chosen islander a snog, before the Ouija board reveals the answer. If they got it right, they'd score a point for their team and the team with the most points at the end would win. In the end it was the girls that won.

Day 4: Kye & Gabby (New islander date).
Day 5: Connor & Isabel (First date).

Day 3: After not being chosen by either of Gabby and Mick, Zac and Bailey were chosen to be dumped by the girls and boys respectively.
Day 12: In the evening, bombshells; Alex, Boston and Mia were given the opportunity to choose an islander to couple up with. In the end Alex chose to couple up with Sharn, Boston chose Ross and Mia chose Mick.
After being made single by bombshell; Mia, Tamara was allowed to re-couple with single boy; Mateo.
Challenges
Day 8:Forbidden Fruit-In this Adam & Eve themed challenge, the boys were pitted against the girls in a challenge where they given percentage-based questions that had already been answered by the "Superfans". The islander who got their answer closest to the "Superfans" would score a point for their team, with the team that had the highest total points being the winners. In the end the boys won with 4 points.
Day 11:Big Lick Energy-For this challenge, the boys were all asked to line-up and wear noise-cancelling headphones and blindfolds. The girls would then have to each come up and snog all the boys, with the boys then giving each girl a score out of 10. The girl that has the highest total points at the end would be the winner. In the end it was Yana that won with a score of 62.1.
Day 13:Heart Strips a Beat-The boys had to dress up in sexy costumes and perform a seductive dance, in order to try and raise the girls heart rates as high as possible.

Day 9: In the evening the three boys voted most likely to find love by the "Superfans" (Jotham, Mateo & Ross) were asked to choose one of the three girls voted least likely to find love (Gabby, Lacey & Yana) to dump from the villa - Lacey (Chosen by the boys).
Day 14: A "Superfan" vote for the most popular islanders was opened-Isabel (Least amount of Superfan votes).
Day 17: "Stick or twist" re-coupling (OG islander's choice)-Mateo & Tamara, Kye & Yana, Boston & Ross, Sharn & Alex (Stayed together). Mia & Bailey MCA, Jotham & Jaide (Re-coupled). Dylan, Emma, Gabby, Mick (Remained single).
Day 18: "Villa Veterans" re-coupling - Jotham & Jaide, Tamara & Mateo (Stayed together). Yana & Kye, Gabby & Dylan, Ross & Sharn, Mick & Emma (Re-coupled).
Challenges
Day 19:Mr SUBLime-In this challenge the boys had to dress up in Subway-themed swimsuits and do a lap down a cat-walk. Once all the boys have finished, it would be down to the girls to determine which of them is the winner. In the end the girls chose Ross as the winner.
Movie Night-The islanders were given a set of spoof-movie titles correlating to a given islander/s. Each of them contained a clip of revealing footage of their fellow islanders and the boys and girls could take it in turns to choose one to watch.
