Season 4 is the fourth season from the Finnish version of Love Island, hosted by Veronica Verho and premiering June 5th,2023 on MTV.

Production

The fourth season of the show was confirmed to be in production on January 16th,2023 through advertisements the show put out through their social media channels, with a release window of summer 2023 also being revealed.

Later on May 8th,2023 it was announced that the new season would be premiering on June 5th,2023 where it was also confirmed that Veronica Verho would be returning to host the new season. A new narrator for the series in Finnish comedian; Tomi Haustola was also announced for the fourth season.

Casting

Applications for the new season were opened upon the announcement of the new season on January 16th,2023. Once again the producers were looking for young and attractive boys and girls who were 18 and over to take part. For this season, the producers also asked social media users to nominate/put forward friends who they thought maybe interested in taking part in the comments section of post as an alternative to filling out the form found on the show's site.

As of June 2023, the applications for the fourth season are still open.

Villa

Upon the announcement of the launch date on May 8th, it was also announced that the fourth season would be airing from a new villa, rather than the one used in the previous seasons. It's currently unknown where the villa is located.

Islanders

The initial line-up of islanders for the new season were teased across 3 days, starting on May 30th,2023. This lead up to the full reveal of the cast on June 2nd,2023, revealing a line-up consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls. More islanders would enter the villa later in the season as bombshells.
