Season 4 (America)

Season 4 is the fourth season of Love Island's American adaptation, hosted by new host Sarah Hyland and premiering July 19th,2022 on Peacock.

After 6 weeks, on August 28th 2022 Timmy Pandolfi and Zeta Morrison were declared the winners of the season and of the $100,000, with Isaiah Campbell and Sydney Paight finishing as the runners-up.

Production[]

On February 23, 2022, it was announced that the series would no longer air on CBS, who aired the first three seasons. The series was picked up for two additional seasons, including the fourth season by Peacock. Additionally, on June 30, 2022, it was revealed that Arielle Vandenberg would not return for the fourth season. Instead, it was revealed that actress Sarah Hyland would take over as host. The season is set to be filmed in California.

The initial line-up of islanders were revealed over 2 days from July 11th, 2022 to 12th July, with the line-up comprised of 5 girls and 5 boys.^[1]

Week 1	Entrances	Day 1:Andy,Courtney,Deb,Felipe,Isaiah,Jesse,Mady,Sereniti,Sydney,Timmy,Valerie,Zeta Day 4:Tyler.
	Couplings	Day 1:After each of the girls came in, the boys were introduced one by one, with the girls then being asked to step forward for a boy they were interested in. The boy in question would then get to choose a girl of their choice to couple up with. The final couples were as such-Andy & Courtney, Felipe & Sereniti, Isaiah & Sydney, Jesse & Deb, Timmy & Zeta. Day 2: On Day 2, bombshells; Mady & Valerie were told that they'd be able to steal a guy of their choice to couple up with that evening. There Mady decided to couple up with Andy and Valerie chose Jesse, leaving Courtney and Deb vulnerable. Day 5:First re-coupling (Boys Choice)-Timmy & Zeta (Stayed together). Felipe & Courtney, Tyler & Sereniti, Andy & Sydney, Isaiah & Mady, Jesse & Deb (Re-coupled).
	Challenges	Day 2:Ship-Happens-In this challenge the boys were pitted against the girls, with each team being tasked with taking treasure-chests off of a conveyor belt and then reading out a statement correlating to a member of the opposite team. The reader would then need to make their guess by giving the islander they thought the statement correlated to a kiss. If they got it right they scored a point for their team. The team that had the most points at the end would win. In the end it was the boys that won with a score of 3-2. Day 4:Kissing Booth-For this challenge each of the boys were blindfolded, before the girls each came up one by one kissing each of the boys. The boys would then need to rate the kiss out of 10, with the boy that managed to score the highest total then being declared the winner. This process would then be reversed, with the girls being blindfolded and the boys delivering the kisses. In the end it was Valerie and Timmy that were declared the winners of their given rounds.

	Couplings	Day 7: On Day 7 bombshell siblings; Bria and Chazz were told that that night they'd be choosing each other's partners to couple up with. That night Bria chose Sereniti to couple up with Chazz and Chazz chose Timmy for Bria, leaving Tyler & Zeta single respectively. Day 9: Second re-coupling (Girls choice)-Deb & Jesse, Bria & Timmy, Sereniti & Chazz (Stayed together). Courtney & Bryce, Mady & Andy, Sydney & Isaiah, Zeta & Jeff (Re-coupled).
	Challenges	Day 6:Tag-Team-In this challenge, each of the couples were tasked with taking part in a WWE wrestling-themed obstacle course. First off they'd need to burst through a WWE poster, before making their way down a ramp, while trash-talking their competition. After this they'd make their way into the ring and attempt to body-slam 6 multi-coloured and slime-coated balloons. Once this is done, the couple would need to head to WWE summer-slam red-carpet, to pose before concluding the course with a kiss. In the end WWE superstar and guest judge; Dolph Ziggler would declare the winner based on who he thought performed the best. In the end the title was awarded to Isaiah and Mady. Day 9:G-Force-

	Exits	Day 7: After bombshells Bria & Chazz had been coupled up, the fate of single islanders Tyler and Zeta was left in the hands of their fellow islanders-Tyler(Not saved). Day 9:Felipe(Failed to re-couple).
