Season 3 is the third season of the Franco-Canadian Love Island, hosted by Olivier Dion and premiering April 10th,2023 on TVA.

Production

On October 19th, 2022 it was confirmed by the producers via the show's social media, that the show would be returning for a third season in 2023, while encouraging potential islanders to apply. On January 4th,2023 it was announced by both Naadei Lyonnais and narrator; Medhi Boussain that they would be stepping down from their roles as host and narrator respectively for the upcoming third season.

A day after this, it was announced that Canadian singer/presenter; Olivier Dion would be taking over as the host of the show, from this season onwards. At the same, it was also teased that for the first time the new narrator of the show would be female. On February 21st,2023 it was announced that Canadian actress; Genevieve Schmidt would be taking over as the narrator for the series, through a short promotional video on their social media.

On March 20th,2023 it was officially confirmed by the producers that the new season would be premiering April 10th,2023 on TV4, with episodes set to air from Monday-Thursday each week.

Casting

Applications for the new season, were opened upon it's announcement on October 19th,2022. They were looking for young and attractive boys and girls between the ages of 20-30 to take-part. To audition for the new season, potential islanders would have to access the show's official auditions site and fill out a selection of forms. As of March,2023 the applications are still open and as of yet, it's unknown when they will close.

Villa

This season, the show will be airing live from the same villa that was utilized for the previous two seasons, as well as the recent Swedish edition of the show.

Islanders

The initial line-up of islanders for the season were announced in full on March 30th,2023 and comprised of 5 boys and 5 girls. More islanders entered the villa later as bombshells.
