The season was first announced to be in production by CBS on January 27th,2021 where they made the announcement through their various social media accounts, confirming that the show would indeed be returning for it's third season in the summer of 2021.[1]
On May 13th,2021 it was revealed during an official CBS podcast held on podcast app; Clubhouse with Arielle and Big Brother US host; Julie Chen, that the third season of the show would be premiering on CBS; July 7th 2021.[2]
Casting[]
Casting agents first put out adverts looking for new islanders for the third season 2 months after Season 2 came to an end in November 2020, through the use of social media. As with previous seasons they were looking for young and attractive single boys and girls to apply and send in audition tapes and requiring them to be 18 or over.[3]
However, as of February 2021, CBS have not announced any official audition details for this season. On April 25th,2021 the auditions were officially opened by CBS, with the show announcing their official casting call through their social media accounts.[4]
Villa[]
Alongside the announcement of the show's renewal on January 27th, it was also revealed that the show would be airing from a villa in Hawaii instead of Las Vegas or Fiji like it was in the previous two seasons. The first official images of the Hawaiian villa were released on the day of the launch; July 7th,2021 through their official social media pages. Here they showed off a variety of the villa's different areas, including the bedroom, make-up room, lounge, outdoor bar, decking area and hide-away, as well as a luxury pool that features a water-slide.[5]
Islanders[]
On June 28th,2021 it was announced through the show's official social media accounts, that the cast for the third season would be revealed the next day on June 29th, just over a week away from the launch.[6] The initial line-up for this season features 5 girls and 7 boys. More islanders will enter as bombshells later in the season.
Day 1: After each of the girls had entered, the boys entered one after the other, with the girls being asked to step forward for a boy they're interested in. The boy would then get to have free reign of the girls to choose from, regardless of whether they stepped forward. In the end the couples were as such: Christian and Cashay, Javonny and Olivia, Jeremy and Trina, Josh and Shannon, Korey and Kyra.
Day 2: Upon entering the villa late into Day 1, new boys; Melvin & Will were told that during the next day they'd both be able to steal a girl from one of the boys to couple with. On Day 2, Melvin decided to couple up with Cashay and Will chose to couple with Kyra, meaning Christian & Korey were left single.
Day 2:Whistleblower-In this Bridgerton-themed challenge, the islanders were divided into 2 teams; Boys and Girls and were tasked with trying to guess which islanders of the opposite sex a variety of different statements correlated to, with the islander then having to snog the member they thought it correlated to, scoring a point for their team if they got it right. In the end it was a draw between both teams.
Day 5:Babewatch-For this challenge, each of the boys had to dress up in Baywatch-themed swim-suits and take part in an obstacle course, where they had to put on as sexy a performance as possible. The course featured a slide, mud-track and a swimming pool with an inflatable shark to save. To finish the boy would need to kiss their girl at the end of the track. In the end it was up to the girls to decide who put on the best performance.
Day 11:Second Re-coupling(Boys choice)- Josh & Shannon, Will & Kyra, Jeremy & Aimee, Javonny & Olivia (Stayed together). Isaiah & Cashay, Korey & Florita, Melvin & Trina (Re-coupled).
Challenges
Day 7:Kissing Booth-In this challenge, each of the boys were blindfolded and had to stand in stalls, where each of the girls one-by-one would come up and give them a kiss. The boys would then have to each give a score out of 10 for each kiss they receive. The girl that received the highest score at the end would be declared the winner.
Day 9:All Lubed Up-Here, the girls take part in a car-wash themed challenge, where they tackle a course, attempting to put on the sexiest performance. In the end, the boys would decided which girl would be declared the winner of the challenge.

Day 16:Couple Goals-In this challenge, the couples took part in a a quiz, where each member had to answer a number of questions regarding their partner, writing it down on a blackboard. If they were able to match their partner's answer, they would be able to score a point. The winning couple at the end would be the couple with the most points.

Day 22: Stick or Twist re-coupling(OG Islander's choice)-Josh & Shannon, Melvin & Trina, Kyra & Will(Stayed together). Korey & Leslie, Jeremy & Genevieve, Cashay & Charlie (Re-coupled).
Challenges
Day 19:The Love Island Games-For this challenge the boys and girls were pitted against each other and had to take part in sports-themed challenges to score points for their team. These challenges included boating, bean-bag target-toss, archery and fencing, with each team selecting a member to take part in each of them.
Day 20:Raunchy Race-In this challenge Casa Amor was pitted against the Main villa, with both taking part in a number of small challenges. The first villa to complete a task would score a point, with the winning villa being the one that had the most points in the end. The prize for this challenge was a party.
Day 24:Smooch, Marry, Pie-For this challenge, each of the islanders took it in turns to smooch an islander of the opposite sex by kissing them, marry them by putting a ring on their finger and slamming a cream-pie in their face to pie them.
Day 25:Hearts on Fire-Here, the islanders were tasked with trying to raise the heart-rates of the islanders of the opposite sex the highest, for their team. To do this, they'd have to dress up in sexy costumes and put on a performance to try and get their heart-rates up. The winning team would be the one who manages to raise the most heart-rates from the opposite team.
Day 25:On Day 24, a public vote opened for the most popular boys and girls-Kyra, Will, Melvin, Genevieve (Bottom 4)-Genevieve & Melvin(Chosen by most popular boys and girls to dump).
