Season 3 is the third season of the German version of British reality TV Dating show; Love Island, hosted by Jana Zarella and premiering September 9th,2019 on RTLII.
On October 7th,2019, Sydney Wolf and Vivien Michalla were declared the winners of the season and of the 50,000 euros.
Production[]
The third season of the German version was confirmed to happening in January 2019, after a successful first and second seasons. It was also confirmed later that Jana Zarella would return to host for the third season of the show.
In August, 2019 it was announced that the release date for this season, would be September 9th,2019.
Casting[]
Applications for the third season of the show, opened when the announcement of the season was made in January, looking for young and attractive boys and girls to take part in the season, through asking them to send in audition tapes.
Islanders[]
The first 7 female islanders for this season were revealed September 2nd 2019, while the 6 new male islanders were then subsequently revealed September 4th 2019. More islanders will enter the villa later in the season.
