The second season of the show was first revealed to be in production by the producers on February 28th,2022, alongside the announcement of the casting for the season. This was done through both their social media accounts and through their website.[1]
On April 26th 2022, a raft of new format features for the upcoming season were announced as a part of the promotional campaign. These features included the Red Button, giving islanders the opportunity to get rid of a partner who they no longer find it bearable to be coupled with or to attempt to try and get a love rival booted. Both the presser of the button and their target would be placed in a public vote at this point. It was also announced that blind dates would be a thing for the new season, with islanders being chosen to go on dates for reasons outside of their attractiveness. Cristina Pedroche was also reaffirmed to be returning as hostess for the new season.[2]
The launch date for the new season was officially confirmed on May 5th,2022 as being May 22nd, alongside the reveal of new glamour-shots for hostess; Cristina.[3]
Casting[]
Auditions for the new season were opened upon it's announcement on February 28th,2022, using both it's website and social media platforms to encourage young and attractive boys and girls between the ages of 18 and 30 to apply for the new season. To accomplish this, the site has incorporated an application form into it's news-page on the subject, allowing potential applicants to sign-up by inserting their email address and upon doing this, applicants would be sent the details they need to continue applying. As of May 2022, the applications for the show are still open.
Villa[]
For this season, the show will be returning to the original villa used last season and located in Gran Canaria, Spain.
Islanders[]
Starting on May 14th,2022, the show began to tease the initial line-up of islanders, releasing blurred glamour-shots of the first 2 islanders with their faces covered, through their social media channels.[4] This occurred each day leading up to May 20th,2022 where the initial line-up was revealed in full, featuring 5 girls and 5 boys.[5]
Day 1: After each of the boys had entered the villa, the girls came in one after the other, with the boys being allowed to step forward for a girl they were interested in. The girl would then get to decide whom they coupled up with, regardless of whether or not they were already in a couple. The final couplings were as such: Deimante & Rafa, Lara & Alan, Lorena & Saul, Paola & Mauricio, Yaiza & Alberto.
Day 4: First re-coupling (Boys Choice)-Saul & Lorena, Mauricio & Paola (Stayed together). Alan & Aroa, Alberto & Deimante, Luis & Yaiza, Rafa & Lara (Re-coupled).
Day 5: Upon entering the villa, bombshells; Aurora & Ruben were told that night, that they'd be able to steal an islander of their choice to couple with. Aurora chose to couple up with Alberto, while Ruben chose Lorena. However Ruben was stopped by Saul who pressed the red button in response and activating a public vote.
Challenges
Day 3:3,2,1 Touch- In this challenge the girls were tasked with trying to guess which of the guys they were feeling when they put their hands through holes in a make-shift wall, the guys were standing behind. If they were able to guess correctly, they'd score a point, with the girl who managed to gain the most points at the end winning.

Day 8:On Day 5, Saul pressed the red button in response to Ruben choosing Lorena and as such this meant the pair were placed into a public vote. On Day 8, with 57% of the public vote, the islander dumped was-Ruben
Day 10:Second re-coupling (Girl's choice)-Aroa & Alan, Lara & Rafa, Lorena & Saul, Paola & Mauricio, Yaiza & Luis (Stayed together). Aurora & Felipe (Re-coupled).
Challenges
Day 13:Firefighters of love-For this challenge, each of the boys had to dress up as firefighters and take part in a 4 part obstacle course. To start off with they'd have to strip and slide down the fireman's pole, before bursting through a door while carrying their partner and then performing push-ups on a matt. After this they would need to make their way across a row of tires. The final part of the course would involve them having to climb up a rope to save a stuffed cat toy before ringing a bell. The girls would determine the winner based off of who pulled off the sexiest performance.

Challenges
Day 17:Cup of Love-In this challenge, the islanders were read a number of statements correlating to one of them. Each of them would take it in turns to try and make a guess by throwing a cup of melted chocolate over the islander they thought it correlated to, if they got it wrong however it'd be thrown over them. If correct they'd score a point, with the winner being the islander to have gained the most points at the end.

Day 19: On Day 18 a public vote the for the couples the public wanted to dump from the island-Alan & Monica (Most votes to dump), Lorena & Saul (Second most votes to dump).
Day 27: "Stick or twist" re-coupling (OG islander's choice)- Lara & Rafa, Luis & Yaiza (Stayed together). Carmen & Juanvi, Mikaela & Andy, Paola & Eder, Alberto & Ruth, Carlos & Katherine (Re-coupled). Ariadna, Mirella & Ruben (Left single).
Challenges
Day 23:The Cocktail game-For this challenge the Main villa was pitted against Casa Amor, with both villas being tasked with making 5 full cocktails. To do this the OG islanders had to pick an islander of the opposite sex, to whom they'd pass the cocktail ingredients to using only their mouth. Once their partner has taken the ingredients into their mouth, they'd then need to load said ingredient into their allocated cocktail glass. The fastest couple to fill up their cocktail glass in each villa would win. In the end this was Paola & Andy for the Main Villa and Gabriel & Ruth for Casa Amor.

Exits
Day 25:On Day 25 both Casa Amor and the Main Villa were told that they'd need to vote out one of the new islanders from each villa -Margarita & Tomas (Casa Amor and the Main villa's choices respectively).
Day 30: After re-entering the villa, Ruben was forced to choose between Ariadna & Mirella to couple up with. In the end he chose Ariadna, leaving Mirella dumped.
Day 32: Final re-coupling (Boys choice)-Carlos & Katherine, Alberto & Ruth, Eder & Paola (Stayed together). Juanvi & Ariadna, Ruben & Lara, Andy & Carmen. (Re-coupled)
Challenges
Day 33:Couple of Sorts-For this challenge the couples had to arrange themselves from 3rd-1st in a number of different categories that the public had voted in through LI app. For each positioning they got correct, they would score a point.

Day 32: On Day 31, Ruben pressed the red button against Rafa, placing the both of them in a public vote to dump. On Day 32 Rafa was revealed to have received the most votes. Mikaela (Failed to re-couple).
