Season 2 is the second season of the VIP iteration of the German Love Island, hosted by Sylvie Meis and premiering September 11th,2025 on RTLII.
Production[]
A second season of the VIP-version of LI-Germany was confirmed to be in production on March 6th,2025 with a second batch of German celebrities/RTV personalities set to enter the villa.[1]
On August 14th,2025 it was confirmed that the second season would begin airing on September 11th,2025 alongside the reveal of the cast for the new season.[2]
Casting[]
For this season of the VIP version, the producers looked to open applications for potential VIP islanders to sign up.[3]

This season was filmed from the Greece-based villa used in the previous VIP season.

The full line-up of VIP islanders were revealed in full on August 14th,2025, featuring a total of 21 islanders.[4]As of August 2025, it's not known which of these 21 entered on launch night.
