Season 1 is the first season of Love Island DE, hosted by Jana Zarella and her husband, premiering September 11th,2017 on RTLII and lasting for 19 episodes, where Elena Miras & Jan Sokolowsky came out as the winners, therefore winning the 50,000 euro cash prize.

The first season of Love Island DE was announced by RTLII during the summer of 2017, after the previous success of it's British Counterpart's third season that summer. During this time it was confirmed that Jana Zarella and her husband would be the hosts of the show for the premiere on September 11th.
