Playing the Field is the eleventh challenge from the seventh season of Love Island, airing August 4th,2021.

Introduction[]
In this American football-themed challenge, the couples were tasked with taking part in 2 challenges. The first of these challenges involved the boy dressing up as an American footballer and protect their cheerleader partner from the other boys, who are attempting to squirt her with ketchup and mustard. The cheerleader would need to kick the ball through the post in order to complete the challenge. The cheerleader who managed to stay the cleanest during their run, would win the challenge, gaining 3 points, with second and third place scoring 2 & 1 points respectively.
The second part of the challenge was a kiss-athon where each of the couples had to stand on a set of make-shift bleachers and hold a kiss until the bell rings. Couples that manage to do so will be declared the winners of the second challenge.
