Nikita from Nummela is one of the first to join the Love Island Finland programme. Nikita applied for a simple reason:
"I wanted to come and test if I could find the man of my life.
The 23-year-old Nikita previously worked as a chef, but then moved on to office duties. She's been single for two years. She tells me that before that, she was almost always in a relationship. The first relationship started when I was 15.
"My last relationship lasted over three years. It was weird being alone at first, but after that, I thought, "I don't want anyone anymore." Now my mind has changed.
Nikita, who is a horse riding enthusiast, is looking for a partner who is animal-love. He wishes the partner himself had his own hobby.
"I hate people who are at home waiting while the other person has been doing everything all day. It just doesn't work.
Nikita wants to find a partner like herself who sports and is talkative. He describes himself as positive and good company.
"My best part is sociality, I almost never shut up.
From a partner, she can't stand the jealousy that goes beyond him. On the downside, she mentions overthinking and naïveness.[1]

Nikita entered the villa on Day 1, where she was coupled up with Tommy. For the first re-coupling on Day 12, she decided to stay with Tommy. For the next 5 re-couplings on Days 18, 25, 35, 40 & 49 respectively, Nikita was able to stay coupled to Tommy. However on Day 58, it was revealed that both she and Tommy hadn't received enough public votes to win and as such were dumped from the villa together in 4th place.
