Mika entered the villa on Day 1, where he coupled up with Veera. For Day 5's first re-coupling he was able to stay coupled to Veera. However for Day 11's second re-coupling, he decided to re-couple with new girl Tiia. On Day 13 thanks to an anonymous islander vote, both him and Tiia were voted out of the villa together. Mika was later able to return to the villa on Day 37, thanks to an public vote. For Day 38's seventh re-coupling, Mika was able to couple up with Tanja. He stayed with Tanja for the final re-coupling on Day 42. Later on Day 44, it was revealed that both he and Tanja were unable to get enough public votes to win and as such were dumped together in 5th place.
