Mercedes entered the villa late into Day 10, as a bombshell. There he was tasked with dating single girls; Xanthe & Sophie, before choosing one to couple up with. In the end Mercedes made the decision to couple up with Sophie, leaving Xanthe single and dumped. On Day 15, it was revealed that the "Superfans" had coupled Mercedes with Em for the third re-coupling as part of the "Hotel Amor" twist. Post Hotel Amor on Day 16, Mercedes made the decision to remain coupled with Em and as Em chose to do the same for him, the pair were able to remain together. At Day 25's finale, it was revealed that both Mercedes & Em had finished together as the winners.
