Return to the island of love for Marcellino Kremers! The fitness club manager from Mönchengladbach won the second season of "Love Island" in 2018 together with Tracy Candela. However, malicious tongues would claim that the only true relationship that was successful on "Love Island" this season was that of Marcellino and the runner-up Tobi "Dr. Love" Wegener.
After his participation in the RTLZWEI show, he appeared in shows such as "Match! Celebrities on a Dating Course", "The Festival of Reality Stars - Who is the Brightest Candle" and in the first season of "Battle of the Reality Stars".
When it comes to love, Marcellino has been turbulent in recent years. In September 2020, he made his relationship with "Love Island" participant Dijana Cvijetic public. Marcellino entered the villa on Day 1. During the first coupling on Day 3, Marcellino decided to couple up with Melissa. On Day 4 however, Marcellino was voted by his fellow islanders as the islander that was likely to put the least effort into a relationship during the "Red flag" night. This meant that'd he be unable to choose who he re-couples with at the next re-coupling. At Day 5's first re-coupling, as Marcellino wasn't chosen to be re-coupled with, he was dumped from the villa in 12th place.

What do you think, do you bring to Love Island, what no one else has? I
I definitely bring my charm and charisma with me. I'm just a leader guy
What is the charm of Love Island for you and what do you expect from it?
In the best case, to meet my dream woman. And of course a lot of fun and a great time.
What was the most romantic thing you ever did or what was done for you?
I think it's nice when a woman has surprises in store, but it's more in the role of the man to "knock one out". The classic is, for example, a bathtub with rose petals and a few candles to set up. But I would like to do something really romantic - like unpacking the swing on the beach in the Maldives.
Why are you single?
Because I just have not found the right person to think about every day: WOW! I definitely want to have that sparkle in my eyes when I see my wife day after day.
What's the worst about singles?
Togetherness is of course something great. Just to make a movie night with pizza is not nearly as nice as a couple. On the other hand, I have a lot of time just as a single. I can pursue my sport and work. I'm free.
How loyal are you to other men? Would you betray a friend for a girl you want to have?
Absolutely no way. This is the highest requirement for me and I would rather cut everything off before I do that ... even if the woman was a Victoria's Secret Model and would be on me!
What was the worst date you ever had?
That was my home when I talked to my date on my bed. I'm after a glass of alcohol - that's enough for me! - asleep sitting on the bed. And while we talked! When my mother woke me up in the same position the next day, the girl disappeared, of course ...
What was your biggest performance before this experience?
I have my appearance every day, no matter where I go. Whether I'm at home in the gym or at the airport. My life is a stage.
How long was your longest relationship before this show?
Almost 4 years, so 3.5 years in any case.
Which celebrity do you love?
I think Alessandra Ambrosio really great. And I think Emily Ratajkowski is really pretty ... is exactly mine

The two women mentioned would be my type dream girl. In addition, the interior of a person must match with his appearance.

Cleanliness and neatness. I look at the teeth, the fingernails and toenails. We are all human, but I see when someone is unkempt. I can not do that.

Really unkempt and stupid. Especially when you realize that the woman does not have much in her head. I also want to have a conversation with her. With a stupid attitude, I get too much.

It depends on the situation. I do not have a typical Anmach saying, but rather do it with looks and with my style.

If I have the chance to talk to a girl for half an hour - like we did in this interview - then I'll have her number after that. I have a total package that has evolved gradually. I used to be very different.[2]

Marcellino entered the villa on Day 1, where he was coupled up with Sabrina. However on Day 5's first re-coupling he decided to re-couple with Julia. Eventually during the second re-coupling on Day 9, Marcellino was able to re-couple with Tracy, with whom he stayed with till the finale on Day 23. During the finale, he and Tracy were declared the winners.
