Lu entered the villa on Day 1, where he chose to couple up with Rachel. However later that day, as a part of twist public vote re-coupling he was re-coupled with Maria. For the first re-coupling on Day 3, Lu chose to re-couple with Adriana. Later on Day 4 however, Lu was made single after Adriana was chosen to be coupled with by bombshell; Lukas and as his fellow islanders chose not to save him, it meant that he was dumped from the island. Late into Day 18, Lu was given a second chance by the producers and returned to the villa. For Day 20's fourth re-coupling, Lu chose to get back together with Adriana. After Casa Amor came to a close on Day 26, Lu made the decision to remain coupled with Adriana during the fifth re-coupling and as she made the same choice, the pair were able to remain coupled. At Day 31's sixth re-coupling, Lu was able to remain coupled with Adriana. For the seventh re-coupling on Day 39 however, Lu made the decision to re-couple with Petra. On Day 43, Lu made the decision to voluntarily walk from the villa.
