Love Island Sweden is the Swedish edition of the popular British dating show; Love Island, that premiered on TV4 on August 19th,2018 being hosted by Malin Stenback for Season 1 & Malin Gramer for Season 2.

Format[]
Like that of it's international variants, this version of the show, features a variety of young and attractive boys and girls, coupling up together in a villa (this time set in Greece), the islanders need to stay coupled up in order to be able to stay in the villa. Throughout a season, new islanders would enter the villa to try and test the couples loyalties and re-coupling ceremonies would allow them to re-couple with one another if they've grown apart from their current partner.
Various tasks/challenges would be put towards the islanders throughout each season as well, in order to test the islanders loyalties to one another. At the end of the season, the last couple standing would be declared the winners of the season and claim the cash prize.

The Swedish version of Love Island was first announced in June 2018 by ITV studios and TV4, Where it was revealed that the first season of the show would be premiering in fall 2018 for six weeks. The host was also announced to be Malin Stenback during this point as well. Auditions for islanders would be opened from this period, up until August 2018.
The first season would premier August 19th,2018 after the reveal of the first islanders on August 13th,2018. On 1st October,2018 Victoria Eklund & Jacob Olson would be declared the winners of the first season.
