Like that of it's international counterparts, this version of the show required young and attractive singles to pair up with one another in order to stay on the island. Throughout the season new islanders would enter the villa in order to test the islander's loyalties to their partners and they'd get the chance to re-couple with someone new if they felt their relationship was going south during intense re-couplings that'd take place over the course of the season. Anyone that's left without a partner would be dumped.

The islanders all live together in a tropical villa, where as couples they share beds and also take part in challenges that test their strength and loyalty as a couple. At the end of the season, the last couple standing would win the cash prize.
