Love Island France is the French version of the popular British dating show; Love Island, that will be produced by ITV studios as an original show for France's Amazon Prime Video, for airing in 2020 for 2 weeks.

On November 7th,2019, the Bournemoth Echo reported that ITV studios and Amazon Prime Video were producing a French version of the show for their streaming service. It was reported that the show would last for a month and take place at a villa in South Africa. Both the director for Amazon's European Original Series; Sophie Brown and the president of ITV studios France expressed their enthusiasm in the project, in interviews during the announcement.[1]

Like it's international counterparts, this version of the show will feature a variety of young and attractive single boys and girls arriving at a villa and having to couple up with one another in order to survive. Throughout the show, new islander's would enter and re-couplings will take place, allowing islander's to re-couple.
The islander's would also be tested with a variety of different challenges/tasks designed to test their relationships and loyalties to their partners. At the end of the season's 4-week period, the last remaining couple would be declared the winners of the cash prize. Unlike that of it's counterparts abroad, this version will feature the episodes being delivered to Amazon Prime customer's on a daily basis and viewers would be allowed to interact with the show, through the show's app.
