Love Island Albania is the Albanian version of the popular RTV-Dating show; Love Island, hosted by television presenter/model; Luana Vjollca and premiering September 3rd,2023 on Albanian TV channel; TV Klan.

On November 17th,2022 it was announced by ITV Studios that an Albanian version of Love Island was in production, for release in the spring of 2023. It was also announced at the time that model/television presenter; Luana Vjollca would be taking up presenting duties for the show and that it had been commissioned for two seasons.[1]
The first promotional content for the first season was released via the show's official social media accounts on July 10th,2023 where it was also teased that the first season would be premiering in September of that year, instead of the previously sought out spring date.[2] On August 28th,2023 it was confirmed that the first season would be premiering September 3rd,2023.
Format[]
Like it's international counterparts, this version of Love Island features an array of young and attractive single boys and girls having to couple up with one another, all while staying in a luxurious villa together, located in Spain. Throughout the season a number of new islanders in the form of bombshells would enter the villa, as a way of testing the strength of the couples and their relationships. Ceremonies known as re-couplings would take place sporadically across the season, as a way of giving islanders the chance to get together with someone else if they were no longer feeling it with their current partner.
If an islander were to be left single at the end of one of these ceremonies they would be dumped from the island, essentially being eliminated from the competition. The couples would also have to take part in a myriad of tasks/challenges that were designed to test different aspects of their relationship, as well as a number of different twists and turns. At the end of the season, the last remaining couple would be awarded to 50,000 euros with the final test of love being whether or not both members of the winning couple chose love or money. If they both chose love they'd share the money between themselves, however if either of them chose money they'd lose the prize money.
