Jussa describes to MTV News that he is very social, talkative, and open towards both things and people. "At the end of the day, I'm quite humorous and sarcastic. I have quite a vivid imagination, which is also reflected in a bit of a double-minded flap. Jussa says he ended up on Love Island through a random search a few months ago. Before he applied for the show, he reportedly hadn't seen a single full episode of Love Island.

Jussa entered the villa on Day 16, as a bombshell. For the fourth re-coupling on Day 17, Jussa was chosen to be coupled with by Isabella. At the fifth re-coupling on Day 23, Jussa chose to re-couple with Mikaela. During the twist "Parent's choice" re-coupling, Jussa was able to remain coupled with Mikaela. During the seventh re-coupling on Day 31, Jussa was able to stay together with Mikaela. Later during Day 35's eighth re-coupling, Jussa was able to once more remain coupled with Mikaela. On Day 42, both Jussa and Mikaela discovered that they had received the least public votes in a vote for the finalists and as such the pair were dumped together in 6th place.
