Johan entered the villa on Day 1, where he partnered with Kitty Haxholm. However the next day, Johan had to temporarily leave the villa due to health reasons, therefore meaning that Kitty was dumped during the first re-coupling on Day 5. Johan returned in time for the second re-coupling on Day 9, where he coupled up with Victoria. This only lasted till the third re-coupling ceremony on Day 12, he re-coupled with Mathilda. On Day 16, Johan re-coupled one more time during the fourth re-coupling ceremony with Sandra Gonzalez. He was able to stay coupled with Sandra for the proceeding 7 re-couplings. During the finale on Day 43, Johan walked out alongside partner; Sandra as the runners-up.
