The first thing that is in my focus is, I am transgender and this has never happened before in the history of "Love Island". It's just important for me to show: Hey, even I as a trans woman can find a man in a dating or reality show. Besides, I'm already special, I would say there is no second like me. Everyone says I'm funny and I'm easygoing. So many tell me: you can be recognized directly by your cheerful and open nature.
How do you make guys lose their minds?
With my open nature. If I want something or if I think something, then I say it too.
And then why are you single?
Since my last relationship, I've been single because it's just hard for me to meet someone who has honest intentions. I mean, nowadays it's harder to get to know someone anyway, especially now when the clubs had and generally the private life was very limited. And via Instagram, Snapchat and Co. it is just too dangerous for me personally, because I never know who is serious and who is not. At the end of the day, is it just a joke? Who is just making fun of themselves? Who wants to arrange a date with me and leaves me at the end?[1]

Jessica entered the main villa on Day 1, where she was told that she wouldn't be able to couple up that day, but would have the opportunity to the next day. On Day 2, Jessica was chosen to be coupled with by Adriano. However later at Day 4's first coupling/re-coupling, Jessica was unable to re-couple after Adriano re-coupled with Leonie and as such she was dumped from the villa in 14th place.
