Janne entered the villa on Day 1, where he coupled up with Senja. He decided to stay with her during the first re-coupling on Day 5. At the second re-coupling on Day 11, Janne was re-coupled with Veera. For Day 17's third re-coupling, Janne made the decision to stay coupled to Veera. For the next 5 re-couplings on Days 24, 27, 31, 38 & 42 respectively, Janne stayed coupled with Veera. On Day 47, it was revealed that he and Veera had been voted into a public poll by their fellow islanders, then finding out they had been voted out by the public in 4th place together, after not getting enough votes from the public.
