Janita entered the villa on Day 21, as a late entrant. For Day 25's third re-coupling, Janita decided to couple up with Aku. For Day 35's fourth re-coupling, Janita ended up single, but was allowed to stay in the villa. During Day 40's fifth re-coupling, Janita got back together with Aku. At the final re-coupling on Day 49, Janita was re-coupled with returning islander; Joel. On Day 52, it was revealed that both she and Joel had ended up in the bottom of a public vote, and as her fellow islanders didn't save them, the pair were dumped together in 7th place.
