During lockdown, workout apps became the new dating apps for 24-year-old Hugo! So if your idea of a dream date is running a 5K, we’ve found the guy for you. This self-proclaimed charmer definitely won’t mind being pulled for a chat, saying: “I’ve got the gift of the gab, which has put me in good stead when I’ve been single in the past.” Fitness aside, Hugo’s list of requirements are fairly simple. “I want someone I can be myself around. I want them to not take themselves or me too seriously,” he says. Also on his list is a girl who’s tall, athletic... and has balayage hair. Hugo entered the villa on Day 1, where he decided to couple up with Sharon. At Day 5's first re-coupling, Hugo was re-coupled with by Chloe. Hugo, for Day 14's second re-coupling, decided to form a friendship coupling with Sharon. At Day 19's third re-coupling, Hugo was chosen to be re-coupled with by new girl; AJ. However, on Day 23 Hugo was made single when AJ was voted off by the most popular boys after ending up in the bottom of a public vote. At the fourth re-coupling on Day 25, Hugo decided to re-couple with Chloe. After Casa Amor on Day 32, Hugo decided to re-couple with new girl; Amy during the "Stick or twist" re-coupling. For Day 37's sixth re-coupling, Hugo was able to stay coupled with Amy. On Day 37 a public vote for most popular couples was opened and on Day 38, it was revealed that both he and Amy had ended up in the bottom 3 of this public vote. As the most popular girls didn't vote to save him, this meant that he was dumped from the island in 13th place.
