Francesco is 27 years old and was born in Potenza, a city in the south of Italy.
He came to the Netherlands at the age of 22, has lived here for about 5 years and works as a robotics engineer: someone who is involved behind the scenes in the design, development or testing of robots and robot applications.
Furthermore, Francesco is doing more and more modelling and has already been able to do jobs for various top Italian brands.
Francesco describes himself as 'a bit crazy and sporty'.
Others often find him a typical example of 'beauty ánd the brains', which is a combination that usually does very well on Love Island.
"It's the best compliment you can get," says Italian casanova.
He himself has a soft spot for tinted women with curly hair. "A bit Latina style, with a nice smile.

Francesco entered the villa on Day 3, as a late entrant. For Day 5's first re-coupling, Francesco decided to couple up with Nina. At Day 9's second re-coupling, Francesco was re-coupled with by Rosa. For Day 12's third re-coupling, Francesco chose to stay coupled with Rosa. However after the re-coupling, it was revealed by Holly that the couples had to vote for the couple that's the least in love, with it then being revealed that they'd voted for both Francesco and partner; Rosa, meaning the pair were dumped together in 17th place.
