Dirty Laundry was the first challenge from the ninth season of Love Island UK, airing January 17th,2023.

Introduction[]
In this challenge, the boys were pitted against the girls in a laundry-themed game of truths. To start off the islander would need to come out of a giant make-shift washing machine and slide down into a foamy pool, before then having to fish out a selection of clues as well as a piece of dirty underwear. The underwear would have a statement correlating to a member of the opposite team written on it, with the holder then having to guess by planting a kiss on the islander they think it relates to.
If they guess correctly, then they would score a point for their team. The team that manages to score the most points at the end of the challenge, would be declared the winners.
