Retrieved from ITV.Com Jones starred in the first winter series of Love Island when contestants flew to the South African villa in 2020. From Portsmouth, Jones was coupled up with Nas Majeed, but found herself single when Majeed recoupled with a new girl after Casa Amor. However, Jones grew fond of Luke Mabbott, a fellow contestant, and the pair entered a relationship and came third before breaking up after the show. Jones, now 25, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May of 2021, and received the all-clear in December the same year. "I will go in there with a little more determination," she said. "Last time I was a little too naive and a little too nice. I’m still going to be my nice and bubbly self, but if I want something I will go after it, because I deserve it as much as the next person."

Demi entered the villa on Day 1, where as part of a twist "Public vote" coupling she was coupled up with Chris. At the first re-coupling on Day 4, Demi made the decision to remain coupled with Chris. On Day 8, Demi was left single after bombshell; Arabella chose to couple up with Chris. However in a twist it was then revealed that due to this, Demi had been dumped from the villa in 15th place.

She currently works as a style advisor at a boutique but her dream career is to be a museum curator in Rome - once she’s learnt how to speak Italian that is… Demi describes herself as a 7/10 and says that she's ‘bubbly’, ‘reliable’ and ‘friendly.’ She’s a natural redhead and thinks that her hair is her best feature. Her ideal date would be a dinner and cocktails but with a fun follow-up once she’s been wined and dined. She says: “On the second date I’d like to do something adventurous like Go Ape or ice skating.” The song Girls Just Want To Have Fun sums up her love life and we think that is a cracking choice for a bombshell headed to the villa. When asked if she’s loyal, Demi said: “I would like to say I’m 99% loyal. However, if my boyfriend or something I’m talking to is not giving me the right attention or affection then my eyes could start wandering.” This bombshell is entering the villa in the hopes of really connecting with someone on another level than just looks. She said: “I think when boys see me they go for my looks and don’t want to get to know me on a deeper level. Whereas I like to think I’ve got a bit of personality to go with it - I’m bubbly and fun.”

Demi entered the villa on Day 16, as a late entrant. Demi was coupled up with Nas during the third re-coupling on Day 18. However after Casa Amor, on Day 26 Demi decided to stay loyal to Nas during the "Stick or Twist" re-coupling, but was made single, when he decided to re-couple with new girl; Eva. During the fourth re-coupling on Day 33, Demi was re-coupled with Luke M. During the finale on Day 43, Demi alongside Luke came out in 3rd place together.
