He entered the villa on Day 26 as a part of the Casa De Amor twist, before later coupling with Ellie Brown during "Stick or Twist" re-coupling. He stayed with Ellie till Day 43, where as the result of a public vote, he alongside Ellie were both dumped from the island, therefore finishing in 9th.

Post Love Island

After Love Island, Charlie and Ellie managed to uphold a strong relationship. This was until towards the end of August, when Charlie Ellie out of their shared home, however this didn't end their relationship together as the pair went on holiday together in the Bernese Alps.

It later came about however, that a few days after this trip, Ellie had left Charlie's mansion and Charlie later announced on September 25th that the pair had broken up. In October of the same year, Charlie was seen out with former TOWIE star; Ferne McCann on a date in London's west-end.

This relationship was later put in doubt when Charlie was seen kissing former fellow Love Island star; Chyna, days after a date with Ferne. Charlie apparently managed to hit it off with Chyna after a night out together in Chigwell, having not been able to take their hands off of each other.

Charlie still managed to keep a relationship with Ferne up until February 2019, when Ferne rejected him after her friend; Danielle Armstrong called him a player. This may of come after Charlie was seen with MIC star Sophie Habboo earlier that month.

Rumours about a relationship between Charlie and Ferne, were once again ignited in May after Ferne was spotted with Charlie together a red carpet event.

Charlie, after Love Island didn't appear in many other shows, with only appearances on Good Morning Britains, as well as various Love Island spinoffs, such as the Christmas Special and Aftersun with Ellie.

Charlie was mentioned by Ferne during an episode of her reality show; "First Time Mum", where she talked about her feelings surrounding him.
