Chad entered the Main villa on Day 16, as a late entrant and as a part of the Casa Amor twist. Later during Day 19's post Casa "Stick or twist" re-coupling, Chad was chosen to be coupled up with by Courtney. For Day 24's fifth re-coupling, Chad chose to re-couple with new girl; Mackenzie. Later on Day 28, Chad discovered that both he and Mackenzie had been voted into the bottom 2 couples of a public vote, but as Mackenzie chose to walk voluntarily this left Chad single. Then with only a few days left till the finale, Chad was forced to couple up with Phoebe who had also been left single that day. Later on Day 30, Chad and Phoebe both found out that they had received the most votes to dump from their fellow islanders and as such the pair were dumped together in 5th place.
