Blasting Off was the sixth challenge from the fourth season of Love Island USA, airing August 7th,2022.

Introduction[]
In this challenge, couples have to dress up as aliens and astronauts and are tasked with taking part in a space-themed obstacle course. For the duration of the challenge, the boys would need to be blindfolded with it being up to their partner to guide them through the obstacle course, starting by coming out of a make-shift rocket and pouring foaming water over themselves. Upon doing this, the couple would need to slide down the "Milky-way" into a bubbling pool. In this pool they would both need to search for a green flag.
The next part of the course, would feature both members of the couple having to bounce along a track using some space-hoppers, with the girl having to guide their partner down the track. Once this is done, the couple would need to traverse a pool of sticky space-goo and then finally they would have to climb onto the space platform and snog each other to finish the course. In the end the couple that manages to complete the course in the quickest time would be declared the winners.
