Ådne really wanted to come in as a new participant during the recording.

Ådne has been single for three - four months, and now he is ready for a relationship.
I want to join Love Island because I think TV 2 will find some of the best ladies out there. I see this as a good opportunity to find a girlfriend, he says.
My goal is to find my life partner, and I am here one hundred percent for love. I think in the long run it doesn't have much to say if I win the cash prize, if I find a partner that I can be with all my life, he says.
I expect to find a lady that I match with the first day. If that doesn't happen, I'm disappointed. But I am open, so if I do not find it then, I do not give up hope, he says.

Adne entered the villa on Day 1, where he decided to couple up with Iselin. During the first re-coupling on Day 7, he was re-coupled with Oda. However this didn't last long, as at the third re-coupling on Day 16, Adne once again re-coupled with new girl; Caroline. Later on Day 23, it was revealed that he and Caroline had ended up in the bottom 2 of a public vote and were dumped together in 14th place, as the couple with second least amount of votes.
